the road to damascus
Earlier this week Zata3 helped our friends at the Sierra Club generate a crowd at the Damascus Community Center in Rural Kemper County, Mississippi for a public hearing about a coal fired power plant. The weather outside was just 21 degrees but rather heated inside as our friends were “raising hell,” according to the Sierra Club. Only one misguided, if brave soul spoke up for this dirty, expensive and unnecessary power plant, while more than sixty entered the public record against it. The formal debriefing from the client was succinct: “We kicked ass.”
