intern allie jordan joins zata|3

Zata|3 welcomes our new intern Allie Jordan. Allie comes to us as part of the Faith and Work Initiative at Millsaps College, which allows students to explore their personal and professional futures in relation to issues of ethics, values, faith, and the common good. Allie is a Jackson native, Wilco fanatic,  Communications/Political Science degree hopeful, and a pursuer of new and interesting experiences. She’s always ready to debate politics or crack a joke and fits right in with the Zata|3 veterans.

 

evan mccarley joins zata|3

Evan is the Communications Officer at Zata|3 and works out of the Jackson office. Evan returned to Mississippi after two years in Boston where he completed a masters degree in Communications from Emerson College with an emphasis in social media strategy.  Evan monitors and analyzes online media to enhance clients'  image and competitiveness. A native of Jackson, MS, Evan graduated from St. Andrew’s Episcopal School before completing a double major in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Mississippi.

 

zata|3 welcomes traci copeland.

Zata|3 welcomes Traci Copeland aboard. Traci Copeland is a Senior Associate in the Jackson office where she is currently focused on the Mississippi legislative races. She recently moved back to her hometown of Jackson, Mississippi after living in DC for six years. Her career in DC began with a stint on Capitol Hill conducting opposition research. She later served as Office Manager/Director of Membership at the National Women's Business Center, honing her skills in fundraising and nonprofit services. She eventually moved to the private sector, working for the Mid-Atlantic hub of one of the largest and most prestigious real estate developers in the country, specializing in mixed-use, military housing development, public-private partnership and adaptive reuse. She has a passion for community service, formerly serving as board member and active volunteer for St. Luke's shelter in DC, is currently involved in a local inner-city recreation/study program for students and equal rights advocacy. Traci has a B.A. in Political Science from Ole Miss.

 

remembering 9/11.

It's hard to believe it has been ten years since the events of September 11th, 2001. Please join us in remembering the victims of this terrible tragedy, and continue to keep their friends and family in your thoughts. We must continue to commemorate and honor those affected by 9/11 and strive to prevent another disaster like this from happening. Today, we are proud to be Americans.
 

senator nelson townhall

Last night, Zata|3 hosted a telephone townhall with Senator Ben Nelson (NE) and staff.  Thousands of Nebraskans joined the hour-long call to focus on jobs and the economy.  The Senator covered a full range of questions, from free trade agreements to infrastructure improvements to regulations and job creating priorities on the Hill.
