ie spending recap

We’ve had a lot of requests for these pivot tables on 2010 IE Spending (as originally stated in the Hotline). If you would like a copy of the report with more than a dozen tabs, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Once you open the report, just click on the icons and change the district, date, IE group, etc. to drill down to satisfy your curiosities.  Here are a few observations:

  • More than $350 million in IE spending on House and Senate races

  • DSCC and DCCC combined spending was about $30 million more than their GOP counterparts

  • GOP IE groups outspent Democrat friendly IE's by about 2.3 to 1

  • Karl Rove’s American Crossroads and his anonymous donors spent about as much as labor, education, and environmental groups combined
