FEC records indicate that after accounting, eliminating party committee expenditures, GOP backing groups spent more than $118 million in US House and Senate races, compared to $52 million for IE’s backing Dems.  The top GOP IE, American Crossroads, spent more than AFLCIO, UMW,  UFCW, SEIU, AFSCME, Moveon.org, Sierra Club, LCV and DFW combined.
