Our recent survey conducted jointly with Perspective, LLC concludes that 63% of African Americans in MS say Governor Haley Barbour is not qualified to be president, and another 24% say he is qualified, but they would never vote for him.  Also, 54% believe Gov. Barbour's refusal to denounce the proposal to issue a state license plate that would honor Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest, an early leader of the Ku Klux Klan, is an indication of the Governor's racism.
